This feature gives customers the ability to incorporate Saia’s tracing data by linking both sites. In order to take advantage of this feature, we suggest you provide the following URL address to your Internal Development Department:

The old link will also still work: https://saiadelivers.com/track-form/AjaxProstatusByPro.aspx?nh=N&Pro=(pronumber)

XML & SOAP

The information below outlines the Web Service tools available from Saia. Your Information Technology specialists can access the web site by using the following interfaces for integrating with Saia’s computer system.

Extensible Markup Language (XML) and Hypertext Transfer Protocol (HTTP POST/GET)

This option allows developers to submit a POST or GET request containing an XML document to the Saia web site using HTTP. The Saia web site processes the request and returns a proper XML document with requested information. Because XML & HTTP are so readily available, most developers will have no problem creating applications capable of quickly communicating with the Web services that expose this interface.

Simple Object Access Protocol (SOAP)

SOAP is a lightweight protocol intended for exchanging structured information in a decentralized, distributed environment. It uses XML technologies to define an extensible messaging framework providing a message container that can be exchanged over a variety of underlying protocols. The framework has been designed to be independent of any particular programming environment.

Extensible Markup Language (XML) and Simple Object Access Protocol (SOAP)

This interface combines the above options allowing users to pass XML documents through SOAP using a request string. In return, the user receives a response string containing the requested information. Our Web Services are implemented using Microsoft’s .NET Framework. A Saia Secure UserID and Password will be required to access these Web Services.
